Laptop in-build mouse stopped working suddenly?
My Laptop Mouse stopped working, when I m working on it. The system is hanged and when I restart system mouse wouldn’t work. What should I do, It’s a hardware problem or a driver problem.
It depends on what brand of laptop you have (which you did not indicate at all). If it is an HP, then there is a button right above the touch pad for enabling & disabling the function. If it is a toshiba, you need to look at the Function Keys (F1-F12) for the one with the touchpad symbol then press it once while holding down the Function Key (FN).
If you are not familiar with these process (I don’t know if your laptop is still in warranty or not), I would advice you to call HP’s toll-free hotline number (1-800-4746836) for further assistance from the Phone Tech Support Team. (FYI, which ever country your call will be routed to, please be patient and kind to the person who will take your call. After all, you are the one calling them for assistance with whatever issue you think you are having with your portable computer. They are trained professionals for this kind of matters so I believe they should be able to assist you with any issue as long as it is in their scope of support. It depends on the company but be cooperative because these phone technicians has a specific handle time to be able to resolve the issue of a caller, so please do not be a jerk. Listen carefully to their instructions and follow it, because if you think you know more, then why call for assistance in the first place). If your computer’s 1-yr Standard Limited Warranty has already expired ask them politely and talk to them in a friendly manner, for they are there to listen and provide you basic info as much as they can. Best time to call, would be after midnight. Make sure to speak your name clearly (spell it, if need be) and provide all the info needed and asked for.
Laptop touchpad problem?
My Touchpad on on my HP pavilion G6 works for about the first 5 minutes of when I turn on my laptop but than it just goes bad. Sometimes I touch it and it moves but not the right way. This is quite a new laptop. Please help me, I’m really scared and I don’t have the money for a new one. Thanks to the kind people that help!
Contact hp and tell them. You said it’s new so it is still under warranty. Also when you buy electronics always keep the bill in a safe place because you never know what might happen to them
